Alexia Mitchell is the owner of Reset and Heal, LLC which was founded after her mother unexpectedly passed from Covid in 2020. “My life immediately halted and shifted when my mother transitioned,” said Alexia. Reset and Heal’s mission is to fill organizational and industry gaps as it relates to wellness and mental health. Alexia is a therapist, yoga teacher as well as a certified birth worker. She also has a master’s degree in social work. She is passionate about destigmatizing mental health in the minority community by providing therapeutic groups, camps and workshops. Healing looks different for everyone, and Reset and Heal share healing space in different facets and ways. Additionally, it provides advocacy as it relates to black maternal health. Black women are three times more likely to die from a pregnancy related issue than any other race. In her spare time, Alexia enjoys going to local coffee shops, specifically ByGood Coffee, getting massages, shopping at local boutiques, supporting small businesses and being an active volunteer in her community. She loves spending time with her husband, Hasani, and her three children, Khristian, Hasani, Jr. and Kai.
